Do you ever feel stuck? Does it seem as though no matter what you do, you can't move beyond your past? Do you worry about your ability to succeed in life? Does it ever seem like your mind does not turn off?
If you can relate to any of these statements, I may be able to help you. I provide counseling services to persons who struggle with these types of issues. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety and addictions. I have completed training in treating both children and adults who have experienced trauma through utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR. I am certified with MCBAP (Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals) to provide addiction counseling.
I am able to listen, provide feedback and help you look at your circumstances from a different point of view. Together we can look at your thoughts and work on changing any unhelpful thought patterns. If you have a history of trauma, you might want to try EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). If we try an approach that does not work for you, we can try something else. My goal is to discover and use the approach or technique that is most helpful for you in moving forward in your life.
If you would have any questions about services, please email me at email@example.com. Thank you!
